Since a young age, I have held a deep-rooted aspiration to create a positive impact by supporting others. As time went on, my interest in psychology and mental health grew exponentially, igniting my drive to pursue and successfully complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Memorial University.
Driven by a passion for furthering my knowledge and skills, I decided to complete a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. This advanced degree has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of psychological principles and therapeutic techniques to effectively assist adults in their journey toward improved mental well-being.
Throughout my professional journey, I have gained valuable experience serving diverse communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, those dealing with anxiety, depression, and stress, individuals affected by addiction, trauma and PTSD. This broad range of experience allows me to bring a comprehensive and empathetic approach to my work with clients.
When I'm not working, I find solace and enjoyment in various activities, such as reading, sewing, crafting, and spending quality time with my partner, Kris, and our beloved mystery breed cat, Ophelia and sweet little Whippet, Cleo. Engaging in these activities not only brings me personal fulfillment but also allows me to lead by example and recommend similar practices to my clients, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Additionally, I cherish outdoor walks, carve out time for self-care, and value the connections I have with friends and family.
